Welcome to the artwork of Sheary Clough Suiter.

Encaustic Artist and Instructor, Sheary Clough Suiter, with “Bomber Betty,” artwork from her new show “I Never Played With Dolls,” opening at the Bridge Gallery November 1, 2019.
Visit the Galleries.

Working with encaustic is physical and just a bit dangerous. Brush-strokes of molten beeswax are fused with an open-flame torch, then carved with sharp instruments! Contact me for a studio tour to see for yourself!

If you’re new to my web site and would like to see the full range of my encaustic painting series, the best way to do that is to visit the Galleries or Commissions.  Of course, nothing beats seeing the artwork in person, as it is very difficult to photograph the depth, texture, and luminosity of the wax medium.  You can do that by stopping in at any of the wonderful venues listed on the Contact page or at my current shows and events.

Stay connected! Sign up to receive my occasional art events update emails.

Thanks for taking a look!
